Holidays almost over and Red Ring of Death help

Ugh. My holiday seems to get worse every day since christmas.

As I mentioned before, the big problem is my car, which was irreparably damaged in a crash. Well, actually it could be repaired but it was more than the car was worth. We sold it for $700. If today is Tuesday, I have until Friday to completely acquire a new car and have it ready to go. Right now we're hunting for a $2000-$3000 car and a loan to match. And since we have no collateral, we're more likely to find a good current-gen Sonic game than a good loan.

(Sonic rant) You get that, right? Sonic Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog were the last two tolerable Sonic games. The first next-gen one totally blew, I heard. Then Sonic and the Secret Rings (I rented) was almost as bad as the Joker's jokes. No, wait. It was much worse. Then Sega literally craps out a god-awful, poor man's God-of-War style, werewolf (I'm sorry, werehog) Sonic game. You know how crap was once delicious food? Somewhere in that crap is still the food you ate. Thus, crap is not 100% bad. I am, of course, talking about the parts of Sonic Unleashed that don't involve the werehog or Sonic's overly annoying friends. I hear that the normal Sonic levels actually weren't half-bad. But that cannot, in any way, save Sonic Unleashed. And now on our hands is Sonic and the Black Knight. Sonic. And the Black. Knight. Is Sega run by retards these days? No, seriously. I think, somewhere in Sega's think tank, is a person who is actually, literally, mentally handicapped and they look to him for Sonic ideas. Sega is losing popularity almost as fast as Sony is losing money. I'd go on and tell you that Sony's PS3 and PSP promises are emptier than their rapidly depleting wallets, but this journal's long enough as it is. </rant>

Oh, and Monday (today/yesterday) I was playing Fable 2 when screen went freaky. It didn't freeze or blank. It was more like the old .hack trailers and had white noise-y things pop up and orange rays of light shining like a cartoony sun. Eventually, my 360 had a single red ring in the controller slot for player 3. On screen system errors appeared in multiple languages and E 74 appeared at the bottom. I learned about The Single Red Ring of Death. I also learned that it was worse than the trio Red Ring of Death that plagued the 360 up until recently, because someone told me the single Red Ring was not covered by the 3-year Red Ring warranty. If anyone knows an easy surefire solution that DOES NOT involve me cracking open my Xbox and looking inside  at the hardware and stuff, please let me know. What's worse is that on Dec 26th, I bought Fallout 3, Fable 2, Eternal Sonata, and Mass Effect (the last two, I had played before and the last I had beaten while renting). I was just two days into Fable 2 when it got the Red Ring. Luckily, I got Animal Crossing City Folk on that day too.

:sigh: But for now, I guess that means I'm getting more stories done and watching every DVD in my possession. I'm just not in an Animal Crossing mood now.

DA STUFF
I've gotten quite a few people to do requests for me. Expect to see Mega Mia soon, as opposed to reading her. I'll keep you guys posted through my Requests journal. Oh, and I've accepted 's request for certain things in the Hellsing Chapter of Mega Mia!

And, after playing Fable 2, I've gotten the idea to do my first female muscle story. The first chapter is already done, but will be submitted together once the second chapter is finished.

I feel the need to get back on track with Azumanga Outbreak, but I'm feeling awfully inclined to go with In all the Land and Winter Stray first. Which would you guys like to see first? Those two or Osaka's chapter?

Oh, and after watching Dark Knight for the fifth time (third on DVD) and Gotham Knight for the kagillionth time, I finally decided to include Joker, Batman, and Rachel Dawes in the Grand Theft Auto chapters. I think it's a nice and fitting crossover, don't you?

Also, I'm updating my favorites collections and my journal with my watchlist. Progress will be slow, but the house will be more free this week and totally free afterwards, except for the return to school for the second semester.
